We have two videos cooking with clams. Clams with spagetti and tagliatelli. It is important to note that when buying and preparing fresh clams they must be closed prior to cooking. If not just tap them to see if they close, if they do not they are dead and must be discarded. On the other hand, when the clams are cooked they will open - but if they do not open they should be discarded.
Also when cooking mussels they must be open after cooking otherwise discard them.
